We never take payment for a score
Competitors sell "featured placements" that quietly move a room up the table. We don't. The room that pays us and the room that never has are graded on one rubric, at one price, by the same two auditors.
SIASCONSET POKER ROOMS · EST. 2013
An independent review desk for poker tables, chips and card room floors. Every kazeeno rail, every spinwinera chip tray and every grizzlys dealer station passes through the same 42-point bench test before we publish a single number.
The company
Siasconset Poker Rooms started as a two-person repair shop on the island and grew into the review desk that card rooms call before they sign a supplier. We buy the gear at retail, we bench it, and we publish the numbers whether the brand likes them or not. That is the entire business model.
Competitors sell "featured placements" that quietly move a room up the table. We don't. The room that pays us and the room that never has are graded on one rubric, at one price, by the same two auditors.
Calipers on rail height, a 0.01 g scale on every chip, a durometer on the felt, and a shot clock on dealer rotations. Where the industry writes "feels premium", we write 10.14 g ±0.06.
Our auditors deal weekend cash games on live floors. Reviews written by people who never pushed a pot for eight hours miss the things that break at hour six.
Every table we review gets disassembled down to the pedestal. If a supplier requires an NDA to let us look at a weld, that supplier does not get reviewed. Readers see the photos we see.
The rubric has not been rewritten since 2019, so a 2020 score sits honestly next to a 2026 one. Rankings you cannot compare over time are marketing, not data.
Each report is signed by the auditor who ran it, with a direct line at siasconsetcasino.com. Dispute a figure and you speak to the person holding the caliper, not a support queue.
What we do
Six core engagements, each with a fixed scope, a fixed price and a written deliverable. No retainers, no scope creep, no invoices for "consultancy time".
Forty-two measured points across tables, chips, cards, lighting and dealer flow, delivered as a scored PDF with a fix list ranked by cost.
Weight, diameter, edge-spot alignment and dry-slide friction on a 50-chip sample, matched against the manufacturer's own spec sheet.
We shortlist three builds against your budget, negotiate directly with the workshop, and inspect the freight before it leaves.
Two-day on-site programme covering pitch mechanics, chip cutting, pot control and irregularity calls, with a written assessment per dealer.
Seat pitch, rail height, cup placement and walkway width modelled to your floor plan, then mocked up in a single table before you commit.
Card marking checks, shuffler entropy sampling, camera coverage mapping and chip-tray reconciliation against your own logs.
Our products
Everything below passed our own rubric before it earned a shelf. Hover or tap a card to see the measured spec behind the score.
Chips
Compression-moulded clay composite with a genuinely dry edge. The most consistent stack we have weighed in three years.
Tables
Steel pedestal, 46 mm racetrack rail and a felt bed that stayed flat through a 400-hour stress cycle.
Cards
Survived 1,100 shuffles before index wear became visible — roughly triple what a paper-core deck manages.
Layouts
Water-repellent suited speed cloth with the lowest card drag we have logged on a printed layout.
Automation
Entropy sampled over 20,000 shuffles with no detectable positional bias, and a 14-second cycle.
Transport
Aluminium frame with locking trays that held alignment through a simulated 2 m freight drop.
How we work
The same sequence runs whether we are benching a single spinwinera chip set or rebuilding a twenty-table card room floor. Nothing happens off-camera.
Forty minutes on your floor plan, traffic and budget. We tell you on that call whether an audit is worth your money — sometimes it isn't.
We log every table, tray and deck on the floor, then pull a random sample: 50 chips, 10 decks and three tables at minimum.
Scale, calipers, durometer and drag sled in our workshop. Every reading is photographed next to the instrument that produced it.
Two auditors deal and observe a full weekend session — the slotrave rush hour is where rail seams and tray jams actually reveal themselves.
Forty-two points scored against the 2019 rubric, with a fix list ranked by cost-per-point. Delivered as PDF and raw CSV.
Ninety days later we return and re-measure the items you fixed, free of charge, and reissue the certificate at no extra cost.
Additional services
An audit that ends with a PDF is half a job. These are the follow-on services rooms actually keep buying from us, year after year.
On-site refelt in a single overnight window, so a spinboss table that closes at 4 a.m. is dealing again by opening.
We re-weigh a rolling sample and flag drift before a tray goes out of tolerance and the cage notices.
Two technicians on site for the duration of your series, handling breakdowns, colour-ups and spare grizzlys stock.
Our measurements, our signature, our auditor on the call when a shipment arrives out of spec.
Itemised replacement values for every table, tray and shuffler, in the format underwriters ask for.
Half-day sessions for dealers who joined after the main programme, run at your own stations.
